Tom Keene is an artist and activist led researcher who probes how technical objects construct, transform, amplify, and coerce the social relations of everyday life. In this session he will present two artefacts from his Database (E)state project that explore the role of local authority housing databases in urban regenration. He created 'Shadow Database' and 'Special Purpose Vehicle' to help residents of Cressingham Gardens Estate in South West London resist the demolition of their homes.
