During the course of a two-hour outdoor lab, the artists will create a number of participatory street actions including the Sheffield Spoon Orchestra - a pop up orchestra comprising Summit delegates and members of the public. Referencing Sheffield’s historic steel industry, the myth-making of spoon-bender Uri Geller whilst creating live poetry, the Spoon Orchestra will draw on traditions from Latin America, where domestic cooking objects are used to create the noise of protest. This noise-making street lab will question methodologies of togetherness within the public realm.
Meet at Site Gallery for 11am.
