How are social art practices remembered? What conversations do past traces have with the present? Is there a sense of urgency that practices are being misunderstood? Taking a proposal emerging from long-term conversations between Sophie Hope and Peckham Platform for developing a Social Art Resource, the lab will explore issues of space, access, inclusion, exclusion, governance and the pros and cons of such an archive/resource.
Delegates are invited to bring material from their own archives to explore the complexities of telling the stories that sit behind practice and imagine future archives in 50/100/200 years time. Guest artist, Rosalie Schweiker and Emily Druiff, Director of Peckham Platform, will join the conversation.
